He passed D M in Cardiology from Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research under Calcutta University. He was associated with Medical Education in Cardiology and Medicine for more than 18 years at various Medical Colleges in West Bengal. He has been awarded Fellow of American College of Cardiology and Fellow of European Society of Cardiology. He has pioneered Coronary Interventions by Radial approach in Eastern India. He has experience of more than twenty thousand radial procedures. He was previously associated as Associate Processor of Cardiology at R G Kar Medical College. He is now Chief Interventional Cardiologist at AMRI Hospitals, Mukundapur. He has several National and International publications in his credit.
