Dr Sagarika Basu completed MBBS from Kolkata. She then moved to UK for further training and education. She has completed an extensive post graduate training in Obstetrics & Gynaecology (through national training number, UK). She achieved MRCOG from Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists (London). She was awarded Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) to become a Specialist Consultant. Dr Basu completed advanced training in laparoscopic & hysteroscopic surgery in gynaecology and Infertility. After pursuing her career in UK for 13 years, Dr Basu returned to Kolkata to continue her work in infertility. She has had a vast experience in treating infertile couples, PCOS, recurrent pregnancy loss, premature ovarian failure and male infertility. She has developed an expertise in arranging infertility work up, ovarian stimulation protocols, egg retrievals, embryo transfer and endoscopic procedures. She has had numerous presentations in various national and international conferences. She has supervised undergraduate and postgraduate medical students in UK and is keen to continue the same in India. Dr Basu has developed a holistic approach towards patient care. She believes in evidence based practice. She is keen to increase awareness among our society regarding infertility and make assisted reproductive treatment more accessible
