Dr. Suman Halder is a visiting consultant in the Department of Cardiology at Manipal Hospitals, Dhakuria, with 30 years of experience in Cardiovascular Medicine, including 19 years of experience in Interventional Cardiology. Dr. Halder embarked on his medical journey with the completion of a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Burdwan Medical College, Burdwan, West Bengal, followed by a Doctor of Medicine (MD) in Physiology from the Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research (IPGMER), Kolkata. He later obtained a Diplomate of National Board (DNB) in General Medicine and a Doctorate of National Board (DrNB) in Cardiology, both under the National Board of Examinations (NBE), New Delhi.
Being a dedicated and committed cardiologist, Dr. Halder consistently seeks new advancements and techniques to enhance his approach to treating various conditions. During his training, he participated in several professional workshops and conferences, notably the India Live Fellows Course in Association with the American College of Cardiology, the Fellow Course in ICVD at the Madras Medical Mission Hospital, Chennai, and other workshops and conferences in Complex Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI), including Bifurcation PCI.
