Dr Sankararaman specialises in diagnostic and therapeutic interventional pulmonology and offers treatments for a range of lung diseases, respiratory problems and allergies. He performs basic and advanced respiratory procedures including bronchoscopy, thoracoscopy, rigid bronchoscopy, airway tumour debulking, airway stent placement, EBUS (CP & RP), cryoablation, indwelling pleural catheter, foreign body removal and airway fistula closure.
He is experienced in emergency respiratory care, treating interstitial lung disease and assessing level 1 to 4 polysomnography to treat sleep disorders, allergy skin testing and immunotherapy, airway diseases like bronchial asthma and COPD and smoking cessation. Dr Sankararaman is passionate about teaching and he has attended several workshops and seminars on respiratory medicine and pulmonary disease management.
